Motorcyclist killed in accident in SE Houston

HOUSTON Police say the rider was traveling at least 100 miles per hour on the Gulf Freeway at the 610 Loop when he crashed into a set of barrels at an exit ramp. The bike bounced across the freeway, hit a guard rail and landed on the other side of the freeway.

The motorcyclist, who police say was wearing a helmet, died at the hospital.
