The chase involved DPS, Harris County and the Houston Police Department. The father of the passenger showed up at the scene and the passenger was let go. The teen driver was arrested.
Teens lead authorities on wild police chase
HOUSTON
It started around 4am in west Harris County and ended in southwest Houston. Deputies say the teen took the car from his grandmother without permission. Two teens were inside the vehicle. The teen was driving on two rims and the pair finally came to a stop on Bellaire. Authorities found a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle.
