Galveston passes sex offender ordinance
GALVESTON, TX
The ordinance was approved Thursday night. It prohibits sex offenders from living within or entering within 2,000 feet of specified child safety zones like schools and parks.
The new restrictions apply to future registered sex offenders who reside in Galveston.
