For the second straight year, the Rockets aren't representing in the NBA All-Star game this week in Los Angeles. But the Rockets and the city are trying to bring the NBA All-Star game back here in 2014. The city and Toyota Center very successfully hosted the All-Star game back in 2006, and ever since then, Rockets President Tad Brown says he's been trying to get the game back here.

Next season, it's in Orlando, and the 2013 game hasn't been decided. Houston didn't bid on that one, but Brown and company will be doing some strong lobbying at the game in LA this week. Other teams are bidding and a decision may not come until the end of the year.
