Info on Coca-Cola Celebrity Golf Classic
HOUSTON
The classic is chaired by ABC13 Sports Director Bob Allen, along with NFL Hall of Famers Bruce Matthews and Mike Munchak.
The Celebrity Pairings Dinner and Auction will be held on Sunday, March 6 from 6pm to 9pm at the Houston Hilton Westchase at 9999 Westheimer. The event will feature dinner, a silent and live auction, and a celebrity draft.
On Monday, March 7 the golf tournament starts with a 10am tee time at Kingwood Country Club at 1700 Lake Kingwood Trail. The awards ceremony will take place after the tournament at 3pm.
The proceeds from the tournament will support year-round sports training programs to improve the quality of life for over 37,000 Special Olympics Texas athletes with intellectual disabilities. The tournament has raised more than $800,000 during the first five years.
