HOUSTON It happened around 9:45pm at the car wash on Alder near Bissonnet. A police officer responding to an accident at an apartment complex nearby actually heard the gunfire and responded moments after the shooting. The officer saw two vehicles speeding from the scene. As the officer approached, he found the victim, who was shot in the chest.

"We don't have any eyewitnesses that saw the shooting, but we'll be talking to some businesses that hopefully got it on camera," said Sgt. Robert Torres with the Houston Police Department.
