Fire breaks out at Houston Whole Foods Market

HOUSTON It happened at the store on W. Alabama and Kirby. The fire started on a second floor balcony. An eyewitness told us she was checking out when she saw fast moving flames by hay on a Halloween display.

The eyewitness said an officer told everyone to get out of store then she heard glass cracking and a fire alarm went off.

Everyone made it out of the store and no one got hurt. Fire crews quickly put out the fire.

A representative for Whole Foods said the store will reopen at 5pm.
