The wife was pronounced dead at the scene. Cornett was taken into custody without incident. He is charged with murder.
Man accused of fatally shooting his wife
HOUSTON
Officers say they found the woman shot multiple times at an apartment complex on Sterlingshire and Balsam Lane around 10pm Saturday. Investigators say Brandon Jewel Cornett, 26, shot his 42-year-old wife and then turned himself in to police.
