Blind man escapes burning apartment

HOUSTON Firefighters were called to the apartment building on Truxillo at Briley around 12:20am. When crews arrived on the scene, they saw smoke pouring from a second story unit.

Fire crews made a fast attack and quenched the flames. They believed the fire started in the bathroom. They think the blind man started the fire by accident.
