It happened last night at a house on Singing Woods Drive in Humble. Investigators say the driver of an SUV was speeding down Echo Pines when he drove through an intersection right into the front door of a home.

The vehicle hit the couple, who were sitting on the couch. The impact was so strong the SUV pushed the couch through the back wall and out the back door. Witnesses say the two men in the truck had been shooting paintballs in the neighborhood.

"I guess they didn't realize we were following him until the end of this street. They took off at a high rate of speed and didn't see that there was 'T' and went straight into the house," said Chris Morgan, who was hit by a paintball. "The passenger got out and tried to run. We stopped them."

The two men were taken into custody. The couple was taken to the hospital where they were listed in stable conditoin.

The home suffered severe structural damage.
