It was just before 10pm when witnesses say a large crowd starting fighting outside North Forest High School on Tidwell. Witnesses tell us the fight started as people were leaving a basketball game at the school. At some point, a man pulled out a gun and fired into a crowd, hitting one person in the leg.
Police say they know who the shooter is. They have his name and address and expect to arrest him soon.
