A jury sentenced /*Ruben Cuellar Romo*/ to six years in prison. Romo pleaded guilty yesterday to stabbing /*Joshua Chapa*/ three times. Romo's daughter told her father that someone raped her at a party. She then went to Wunsche High School and pointed out Chapa as a witness to the attack.
The daughter later admitted she made up the whole story. Chapa thinks Romo should have received a longer sentence.
"I'm relieved that it's over. I'm kind of not too happy about what happened," Chapa said. "I personally would have gave him more, but it happens."
