Woman's body found in submerged car

Apparently the woman got stuck in high water along a feeder road off Highway 59 in Cleveland. Police say the victim is 81 years old, but are not releasing her name until they notify her next of kin.

"We had a report of a submerged vehicle in the ditch," said Detective Harry Kelly with the Cleveland Police Department. "When the officers arrived, they found an elderly white female inside the car."

An autopsy is scheduled to confirm her cause of death, but at this point, police believe it was an accident. The weather has been very rainy. Also, the road near the water is curvy and there are very few traffic lights in the area.
