HISD employee charged with drug possession

Gina Thomas was arrested for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone. Authorities say drug dogs hit on her car in the faculty parking lot of Wheatley High School. Thomas had been with the district for 14 years.

She was the improvement facilitator at Wheatley.
