Postal worker indicted for mail theft

HOUSTON Staci Allen, 27, of Conroe was taken into custody Monday by United States Postal Service-Office of Inspector General (USPS-OIG) agents.

An investigation started after postal customers complained about missing mail along Allen's delivery routes in Willis, TX.

Allen appeared before a judge and was released on a $20,000 bond. She pleaded not guilty. If convicted, Allen faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and/or a $250,000 fine on each count of the indictment.
