Texas senators vote for rescue package

Hutchison and Cornyn pointed to the bipartisan effort in developing a plan.

Hutchison said the bill, while not perfect, would "take necessary measures to bolster our financial system, keep businesses open, and create jobs."

Cornyn said Congress needs to work together now on bipartisan reforms to prevent this situation from happening again.
