Teachers at Bellaire spent the weekend getting their rooms back in order. Bellaire was one of a few remaining schools that did not get power back until Friday.
According to the district website, all HISD schools will reopen except for a handful of charter school programs and most of those are the Pre-K "Young Learners." You'll want to check the HISD web site for a complete list and check with the school district to see if your child's Pre-K site is open.

HISD officials say make sure your child uses caution if he or she walk to school. Many of the sidewalks still have debris on them and they may have to step out onto the street to get by.
HISD is also enrolling students from hard hit storm areas. You can do so by going to any HISD school or to district headquarters.
