Kyle threatens to become a hurricane

MIAMI, FL The National Hurricane Center says Kyle's maximum sustained winds have increased to near 60 mph early Friday. And forecasters say the storm could become a hurricane by Saturday as it moves north.

A tropical storm watch has been issued for Bermuda.

Kyle is centered about 510 miles south-southwest of Bermuda and moving north near 12 mph.

Kyle is the 11th named storm this season in the Atlantic.
