Assault call turns into police chase

HOUSTON Police say the incident started when officers responded to an assault call and saw the suspect's vehicle leaving the scene. When the officers tried to pull the man over he refused and kept going.

The suspect ran red lights before he ditched the car and took off on foot. Police were able to catch him quickly.
