The driver originally left and went to a nearby residence, where he got his grandmother, then returned to the scene as an ambulance arrived.
The bicyclist was dead at the scene. Deputies do not believe the driver was intoxicated. He is not in custody.
They are still trying to determine whether or not if speed was a factor in this crash and perhaps whether or not the man on the bike had all of the proper safety precautions.
The victim has not been identified.
