Two officers in the cruiser were also hurt. They went to the hospital as a precaution. The accident is under investigation.
Four injured in accident involving officers
HOUSTON It happened at the intersection of West Tidwell and Shepherd late last night. Investigators say a patrol car was on its way to an emergency when it collided with a Mercedes. The driver of the car had to be cut out. He's in serious condition. His passenger is expected to be OK.
