Eastbound lanes of I-10 closed

HOUSTON All eastbound lanes just east of the Brazos River in Waller County have been closed since early this morning due to a fatal 18-wheeler accident.

Eastbound motorists on IH 10 are being detoured to FM 1458 northbound at San Felipe in Austin County over to FM 359 through Pattison, then southbound to IH 10 through Brookshire.

Emergency workers are in the process of removing the wreckage and estimate having the roadway open to traffic by 3pm.
