Man found shot outside gas station

HOUSTON Deputies were called out to the Valero gas station on the North Freeway and Airtex last night. That's where they found a man inside his SUV with a gunshot wound to the head.

"He was transported via Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital where last word he was in critical condition with severe head trauma," said a deputy on the scene.

The victim later died at the hospital.

The gas station has surveillance cameras. Deputies are working with the owner to get the video.
