Prairie View falls to Alabama A&M

HUNTSVILLE, AL Alabama A&M (6-12, 3-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference) led for most of the first half, but Prairie View (5-15, 3-5) tied the score with less than a minute left to play. They pulled ahead by one to go into the break 33-32.

The Panthers returned strong in the top of the second half, but Alabama A&M made gains and tied the score 37-37 at the 16:30 mark. The Bulldogs then took the lead the rest of the way.

Andrew Williams scored 12 points for Alabama A&M while Mickell Gladness and Evan Hilton followed with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Prairie View was led by Freddie Edo and Brian Ezeh with 13 points each and Blake Thompson added 11.
