Kelvin Henry
Kelvin Henry is a reporter at ABC13, joining the team in January 2026.

Before ABC13, he worked at NBC 7 San Diego (KNSD) as a general assignment reporter focusing on the economy. He spearheaded coverage, including a special report about the Salton Sea's lithium resources fueling the electric vehicle boom, various economic trends in Southern California, and he covered the state's pandemic recovery. His work has appeared on NBC platforms including MSNBC, CNBC, KNBC (L.A.) and WNBC (NY).

Prior to NBC 7, Kelvin reported in South Bend, Indiana, where he covered numerous stories, including that lead was found in the City of Benton Harbor's water supply, the State of Michigan's proposed takeover of the Benton Harbor School District, and he landed an interview with Michigan state leaders about their plan to carry out the takeover of the school district because of the district failing to meet academic standards.

Kelvin began his career in journalism at CNN as a News Associate in the network's Washington D.C. bureau.

Kelvin holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Hofstra University and a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism & Public Affairs from American University. He is from New York City and is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
