ABC13 celebrates 1-year Who's Hiring job fair anniversary with another way for you to find a job
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- ABC13 is celebrating a year of weekly Who's Hiring job fairs on Thursday by featuring even more gigs.
Since April 22, 2020, ABC13 has partnered with Workforce Solutions to host the weekly virtual fair.
During the year, more than 3,000 people have applied for jobs just through Facebook.
Over the past six months, about 150 have found new jobs, which averages about six per week.
This week, we're at it again with nearly 300 jobs. To participate, check out the video above on our website, mobile app and ABC13 streaming apps.
You can apply for jobs on social media, email, or through the state's free jobs website, MyTXCareer.com.
The jobs this week range in pay from $10 an hour to $100,000 per year.
There are jobs in the restaurant, retail, construction, and sales industries across the Houston area.
During the half hour event each week, you can also call the ABC13 viewer hotline to ask recruiters free career advice. The number is 832-849-0480.
The jobs featured in our events are immediate hire positions. If you apply today, it's possible you'll have an interview by next week.
