'Children Will Listen' is musical theater to young ears

LINCOLN SQUARE -- A group of high school students from Philadelphia attended a Broadway show, free of charge, as part of The ASCAP Foundation "Children Will Listen" program

It was the first time many of the students had traveled to New York City.

Aiming to introduce youth from across the nation to musical theater, the program, created in 2005, honors Stephen Sondheim and is named after one of the songs in his musical, "Into the Woods."
