Montgomery 6-1 after Haas' INT clinches win over Spring

SPRING, TX -- On a night full of big plays by Montgomery defenders, Austin Haas made the biggest.

Haas intercepted Spring's Alex Woods in the end zone on the final snap to seal Montgomery's 30-26 victory in front of a spirited crowd on Friday night at Bear Stadium.

"It felt amazing," Haas said. "We were playing deep zone and I knew he was going to throw it to No. 5 (Xavier Jones), so I did my best to keep my eye on it.
