Devon Still surprises fans with newborn in hospital

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's going to be a special Father's day for Texans defensive end, Devon Still. His daughter Leah has been in remission from cancer for over a year.

Still is paying it forward by surprising an unsuspected family at Children's Memorial Hermann. Our cameras were allowed to capture the warm moment when Ibrahim and Connie Khawaja met Still, a day after they had their third child, Elias.

Through a promotion from Dove Men, Still delivered personal care products, a gift for Ibrahim, and Elias with a congratulatory note. Still is having the time of his life, but still recalls the day Leah was born.

"When you watch your child being born into this world, it gives you a different purpose," says Still. "It makes you want to achieve your dreams even more, because you have someone depending on you."

For Ibrahim, meeting Still was a moment, he will never forget. "I thought it was pretty incredible, for him to hold my son and see the discrepancy in size," says Ibrahim Kwawaja. "I thought it meant a lot that he came out and showed the people of Houston that he cares.
