MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man has been arrested after barricading himself at a home in Magnolia, prompting a busy SWAT scene Friday afternoon.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said the suspect, 43-year-old Charles Sinclair, was wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
SWAT members with MCSO responded to family violence in progress at the home in the 900 block of Westwood North Drive.
Investigators said at about 10 a.m., the suspect barricaded himself inside the home, where he allegedly assaulted his parents in their 70s.
His 73-year-old mother was taken to the hospital for her injuries, and his 74-year-old father was released at the scene.
SkyEye flew over the active scene, where deputies could be seen surrounding the property with heavy equipment.
Authorities said Sinclair was taken into custody around 4 p.m.
