A former Magnolia ISD second-grade teacher is now in custody and charged with an improper relationship between an educator and a student, records show.
Authorities said the incident stemmed from an attempted sale of THC vape cartridges, which escalated to a gunfire exchange, and multiple homes nearby were also hit by the shooting.
A teacher resigned from Magnolia Intermediate School after they triggered a fire alarm while vaping in the faculty bathroom, prompting the entire building to evacuate, Magnolia ISD confirmed.
The proposition was pushed by the Magnolia Fire Department, which said it needed more money to increase staffing as the area continues to grow.
Records show that Dantzer is no longer being held in jail after he was officially charged with assault of a pregnant person. Dantzer also faces two separate lawsuits against him and the city.
