Neighbors outside of Angleton have reached out to ABC13 once again due to concerns about power poles leaning over a rural road.
Superintendent Phil Edwards was quoted on the district's website, saying that the move's objective is to "place more responsibility on students and parents when disciplinary action has taken place."
This weekend, a Bexar County man became the third inmate to escape from the Clemens Unit in approximately eight months after he "walked" out of the prison in Brazoria County.
Only ABC13 spoke with the Angleton woman's daughter as police confirmed that the mother of three had her ring on when she was rushed to Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center.
"We're gonna try to put it back together and move forward, that's all we can do. It's a rough road," an Angleton golf center owner told ABC13 after witnessing the severe storm that arrived Friday night.
"We need all the prayers we can get," market vendor, 'Rockin The Lace Boutique' said. A tornado came through the covered pavilion at the outdoor market roughly an hour after it was set up.
