Woman in custody in connection with shooting that killed 2 kids, injured 2, BCSO says

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is in custody in connection with a shooting that killed two kids and injured two others on Saturday morning in Angleton, according to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said they responded to a call on FM 521 and 288B, but it's unclear if this is where the scene originated.

The sheriff's office shared on Facebook that two kids, a 13-year-old and a 4-year-old, were shot and killed, and two others, ages 8 and 9, were taken to the hospital, but are stable.

As the investigation continues, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office also confirmed that a home in their area is related to the scene, but didn't give specific details.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office told ABC13 that they will hold a news conference at 4 p.m. on Sunday with updates on the shooting.
