BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Neighbors outside of Angleton are concerned about power lines leaning over a rural Brazoria County road, and it's not the first time the precarious poles have been an issue for this area.
Eyewitness News first covered the leaning poles over County Road 210, east of County Road 212, in May 2025, when a viewer reached out to us about the same situation.
"They don't look like they're solid," said Faye McKnight at that time.
Two days later, those poles appeared to be being repaired when SkyEye13 captured video of crews working at the scene.

Residents of the area told Eyewitness News that the poles first fell during Hurricane Beryl in 2024, were quickly repaired, then fell again and were repaired again in 2025.
Those repairs in 2025 happened just 13 months ago, but a neighbor reached out to ABC13 this week to complain that the poles were leaning again.
An ABC13 crew went to the scene today and reached out to CenterPoint for an explanation.
A spokesperson said they believe the poles are leaning again due to recent ground saturation and high winds, and added that they'll send a crew back to the area to set the poles upright.
That spokesperson also said a technician with the company explained that the poles are designed to lean and that they don't feel like they are currently at a dangerous angle.
