Officials said there was no indication the victims attended the nearby school.


BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An Angleton man was arrested for allegedly possessing multiple videos depicting the sexual assault of a child, the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office said.
Edward Lawrence Diaz III, 31, was taken into custody on Aug. 14 as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of child sexual exploitation, the sheriff's office said.
The investigation, which was led by the sheriff's office's Criminal Investigations Division and assisted by the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, led detectives to execute a search warrant in the 900 block of Southside Drive in Angleton.
While the location is less than two blocks away from Southside Elementary School, investigators said no indication that any students from the nearby campus are involved in or connected to the investigation.
Diaz was charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, first-degree felonies each punishable up to life in prison, according to BCSO.
