Firefighters and volunteers install smoke detectors in Tamina

TAMINA, Texas (KTRK) -- A month ago a devastating house fire killed three children in the Tamina community in Montgomery County.

The threat of similar deaths has been greatly reduced thanks to firefighters and volunteers who installed 500 smoke detectors across this community.
