Man with 'severe mental disabilities' missing near Rosharon, Texas
Concerned family members called the Brazoria County Sherriff's Office last night after he was seen on home surveillance walking in a "northern direction."

ROSHARON, Texas (KTRK) -- A 38-year-old man who was missing in the Rosharon area has been found safe, according to an update from Texas EquuSearch overnight.

The circumstances surrounding how and where Daniel Galindo-Garcia was found were not disclosed.

The Brazoria County Sherriff's Office received a call from a concerned family member of a missing person at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Galindo-Garcia was last seen on a home surveillance video walking away by himself in the 3900 block of County Road 48 in Pearland, Texas, at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's office said.

According to family members, he has severe mental disabilities, is deaf, and requires constant care.

The BCSO activated Patrol Texas Department of Criminal Justice tracking dogs, a drone team, and other personnel to help look. Areas near his last known location were searched until 1:30 a.m. Thursday. They continued the search later on Thursday during daylight.
