HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was arrested after police recovered two stolen catalytic converters from the trunk of his car after a traffic stop, according to Harris County Constable Sherman Eagleton.
Deputies responded to a call of a suspicious person near the 13800 block of Windsor Garden Lane after they say two men were seen cutting a catalytic converter off of a truck and placing it in the trunk of the car.

After getting the description of the suspect's vehicle, deputies located the black Honda and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old D'Sean Johnson, was arrested after deputies found the two converters in the trunk. Deputies also found a saw battery and saw blades that had not been used, officials say.

Johnson was charged with theft of metal and unlawful carry of a weapon and taken to Harris County jail.
The two converters were returned back to their rightful owners.
