MAGNOLIA, Texas (KTRK) -- A 67-year-old woman intentionally set a fire that sent two people to the hospital, investigators believe.
The Magnolia Fire Department was called to a home on the 22900 block of Bramblevine early Friday.
First responders were able to quickly contain the fire, which originated from a bedroom on the second floor of the home.
A 67-year-old female and a 63-year-old male who were also in the home at the time of the fire were taken to a local hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation.
As authorities continued their investigation, a lighter could be seen laying in the driveway of the home beneath an evidence tag.
