A fire near Washington Avenue on Saturday morning may have started at a pizza parlor before spreading to a nearby warehouse, the Houston Fire Department said.
Some residents have returned to devastated neighborhoods in eastern Washington state to find their homes leveled by wildfires that erupted across a parched landscape over the weekend.

A fire that broke out on the roof of Methodist Hospital's Centennial Tower was caused by a piece of equipment, hospital officials said.
Fire officials said a man was trapped and had to be rescued by firefighters. No one else was reportedly inside the home.
Saratoga Springs Police were dispatched to the area on June 16 where they found a barn engulfed in flames.
