HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- At least two weather systems will bring torrential downpours that could lead to severe flooding in parts of Southeast Texas, prompting ABC13 Weather Alert Days through Wednesday.
The ABC13 Weather Team said to expect an average of 3 to 6 inches of rain, leading to the potential for flash flooding in Houston through Thursday morning.
Drivers will need to exercise caution over the next few days and be aware of high-water spots.

Cleveland ISD summer camp closed due to severe weather, district says
Cleveland Independent School District announced it will close all summer camp activities on Wednesday due to severe weather.
The summer camp closure list includes Southside Elementary, Cleveland Middle School, Santa Fe Middle School, and Cleveland High School. In addition, Indian Camp for incoming ninth-grade students at Cleveland HS and Step Up Camp for incoming sixth-grade students at Cleveland MS and Santa Fe MS will be rescheduled.
According to the district, it will evaluate the weather forecast for Thursday, June 18. Any updates regarding the district will be relayed through the Cleveland ISD's official communication channels.

Santa Fe ISD, Brazosport ISD closed on Wednesday due to severe weather, district says
Santa Fe ISD and Brazosport ISD announced school closures for Wednesday ahead of anticipated severe weather and potential flooding.
For Santa Fe ISD, the closure includes ESY, Credit Recovery, all athletic camps, and Creative Explorers. Additionally, students scheduled to take an EOC or STAAR exam will now be rescheduled.
According to both school districts, the plan is to resume normal operations on Thursday, June 18.

Video shows a couple of school buses and other cars plowing through the flooded streets across Spring Stuebner and Grand Parkway.
