Investigators question man in Acres Homes house fire

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Arson investigators are questioning a man who may have set fire to his own home in northwest Houston.

The fire broke out around 1:30am on a house on Willow St., in Acres Homes.

Two men live at that home but were already out when firefighters arrived.

Investigators say one of the men may have admitted to setting the fire, but there is no motive as to why. He was taken into custody.

Meantime, the house is a complete loss after the fire gutted the home.
