ABC13 & El Centro de Corazon's Making a Difference 9th annual luncheon

ABC-13 sponsored El Centro de Corazon's Making a Difference 9th annual luncheon. El Centro supporters help make a difference. The organization served over 11 thousand patients last year. It has been addressing community and healthcare issue in Houston's East End community and surrounding areas for 22 years by providing high quality, comprehensive care. In 2015, El Centro provided a total of 457 mammograms with the help of its community health partners: American Cancer Society, Breast Health Collaborative, UT School of Public Health, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. It also distributed 500 backpacks filed with school supplies to elementary aged kids, thanks to the support of its community outreach partners.More info: http://www.elcentrodecorazon.org/
