The children will remain in foster case until CPS completes a home study for two relatives to see if either of them can serve as appropriate custodians.
The children's mother, Tammi Bleimeyer, was charged with child endangerment after authorities were tipped off about her severely malnourished five-year-old stepson, Jordan. The boy's biological father, Bradley Bleimeyer, also is charged.
Jordan is also in CPS custody, though he is living with his great aunt until the agency can allow his biological mother to take full custody of him. The next custody hearing for him is scheduled for May 19.
