A baby girl is in the custody of Child Protective Services after a good Samaritan dropped her off at a fire station in southeast Houston.

That child's mother is now in police custody.

Authorities say a woman ran into the child's mother, Steaphanie Estrada, at a hotel. She offered to take the baby for the night after finding the child alone in a room.

The next morning, Estrada was nowhere to be found, so the woman took 5-month-old 'Baby Lillian' to Fire Station 35.

Estrada was arrested on an outstanding warrant. No word on what new charges she could face.
