Clyde Hedrick, 60, is charged with the 1984 murder of Elena Rae Beasom. She was found buried off a road in Galveston County.
Prosecutors say they may also present evidence linking Hedrick to the murders of Heide Faye and Laura Miller, the daughter of Texas Equusearch founder Tim Miller.
The bodies of both girls were found in the so-called killing fields off the Gulf Freeway and Calder Road.
