Marriott is building a 1,000-room hotel Marriott Marquis at the intersection of Avenida de Las Americas and McKinney in downtown Houston. That's located right across the street from the George R. Brown Convention Center.
When the hotel is complete in 2016, it will be the second downtown hotel to connect to the GRB using pedestrian sky bridges.
Construction is set to begin in April.
