Pansy Houston found the horse bleeding Friday morning in northwest Harris County. She says there are about 15 cuts all over the animal's body. Houston believes the attacker was trying to cut off the horses hooves.
The animal is 25 to 30 years old and belongs to Houston's 14-year-old granddaughter.
Houston does not know why anyone would attack the horse.
