Large Christmas meals are being served today in downtown Houston. It's all to help those falling on hard times.

The non-profit soup kitchen Loaves and Fishes will be serving a Christmas lunch to the homeless community in Houston. That's at the intersection of Congress and Chartres Street.

Earlier today, volunteers served a breakfast filled with eggs, bacon, sausage, tamales, brownies, cookies and hot chocolate for the homeless in downtown Houston.
