No charges for Harris County family court judge accused of falsifying records

HOUSTON

Judge Denise Pratt was no-billed by a Harris County grand jury Friday. This comes after allegations from Webster attorney Greg Enos that Judge Pratt was backdating documents to hide long delays in rulings in her cases. That's when district clerk Chris Daniel launched an investigation.

The grand jury, however, concluded that there wasn't enough evidence to support those allegations.

"We are pleased that the grand jury agrees with us that there's absolutely no evidence that Judge Pratt tampered with court documents or did anything illegal," said attorney Terry W. Yates said in a press release.

We're following this story and will have more coming up today on Eyewitness News.
